Facilitation for Interreg
Course Overview
When people hear the word "facilitation", they often imagine large workshops or high-stake events. Of course, that's what it is sometimes.
But facilitation skills are not only for professional facilitators. They are also very useful for "normal" meetings in our daily work.
That's what this course is about. Applying facilitation skills in our Interreg context to design and deliver meetings that work.
Why? Take a look at your calendar. We are willing to bet that, even though we have no idea who you are, at least 40% of your working day is dedicated to meetings. Team meetings, lead partner meetings, Monitoring Commitee meetings, external experts meetings, seminars, workshops, etc., etc.
In this course, we will help you solve some of the most common meeting problems such as:
- Unnecessary meetings: meetings that could have been an email or something else instead.
- Irrelevant meetings: meetings that are wholly or partially irrelevant to your daily work.
- Overly long meetings: meetings that cover too many topics and go on for too long.
- Unfocused meetings: meetings with vague agendas.
- Unproductive meetings: meetings were people go off topic and/or have no clear outcomes.
Who is it for?
This course is for anyone in the Interreg community who's interested in having more efficient, relevant and useful meetings.
