You will explore a range of essential topics, including the management verification process, eligibility of expenditures, public procurement, and how to identify and manage irregularities. Through practical examples and interactive exercises, you can improve the confidence and knowledge you need to navigate the complexities of Interreg project controls.
Who is it for?
This certified training is primarily designed for controllers working in both centralised and decentralised control systems of Interreg programmes. It is suitable for beginners who are new to Interreg, as well as those who have been working in the field for up to two years and wish to deepen their knowledge or update their skills in line with the latest regulations and best practices.
Overall learning objective
By the end of the training, you should be able to understand the role of management verifications withing the Interreg programme management cycle. You should also be able to understand your role in ensuring that EU funds are used correctly and in compliance with regulations.
