Gateway to Capitalisation
Course Overview
The concept of capitalisation comes from long ago and has evolved throughout successive programming periods. We are now at a point where it is crucial to build on what has already been achieved, and to go a step further – not only in the generation of new project ideas but also in the transfer of existing results into territorial policies.
There are numerous success stories from various Interreg programmes, each with their own definitions and ways of organising this process that we all know as capitalisation. We have learnt a lot from this. We have studied them, analysed them, learnt from them, and we have developed a methodology from them. Why? Because although this is not a new concept, most programmes still need guidance on how the whole thing works, and on how to carry out such a complex exercise.
Who is this for?
- You are not familiar with the capitalisation concept and exercise,
- You don’t know where to start and how to do it,
- You are already capitalising on your project results within your programme (area) but you would like to revise/improve your own capitalisation strategy.
Overall learning objective:
At the end of the course, participants should be able to:
- Gain a better understanding of the capitalisation process,
- Receive specific guidance and great tools to develop and feed your own programme capitalisation strategy,
- Get practical tips from Interreg programmes who have gone hrough this capitalisation process (incl. lessons learnt, recommendations, etc.).
